Fake or overpriced tickets
Buy high-demand museum tickets through official sites or reputable partners. Be careful with resale pages that look official but add high fees or sell impossible slots.
Restaurant traps
The weakest restaurants cluster around the most obvious tourist streets. If a menu shouts too many cuisines in too many languages, keep walking.
Transport overbuying
Do not buy every pass you see. OVpay can be enough. City cards and regional tickets are useful only when they match your actual route.
Bike rental mistakes
Do not rent a bike on day one if you are jet-lagged and nervous. Try a park, guided route or quieter city first.
Coffeeshop confusion
Coffeeshops sell cannabis, not coffee. If you want coffee, look for cafe, koffiebar or bakery signage.
